Belief in Oneness of Allah: –
The basic premise of the religion of Islam is based on the Oneness of Allah. Allah is the sole Creator of all the worlds and everything that exists in them. There is no one who can equal with Allah-the Almighty. He is the sole Provider, Sustainer, and Guardian of all his creations. Hence, He is the only one worthy of worship and all praises are for Allah alone.
The Holy Quran: –
The Holy Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as a source of guidance for the Muslims. The Holy Quran is a complete code of life for Muslims until the Day of Judgment.
Pillars of Islam: –
These are the obligatory acts of worship that all Muslims should perform.
Tawheed is the belief and declaration of the belief that there is only one God, Allah, and Prophet
Mohammad (PBUH) is the last of all the prophets.
Allah has ordered the Muslims to perform five obligatory prayers in a day. These prayers are called Fajar, Zohar, Asar, Maghrib and Isha prayers.
Muslims are required to keep fasts in the month of Ramadan. That is, they are required to abstain from food, drink and sexual activity from dawn till sunset.
It is obligatory upon the Muslims who possess a certain amount of the minimum wealth to do almsgiving to the poor. This is called Zakat.
It is the pilgrimage that Muslims make to the holy city of Makkah, where the house of Allah, the holy Kabah is located. Hajj takes place in the month of Zulhijja, the last month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims from all over the world come to the shrine of Kabah and perform Tawaf around it in plain white colored clothes to signify themselves as the slaves of Allah.
Mohammad (PBUH): the Seal of Prophethood: –
Among the things to know about Islam, the belief that Mohammad (PBUH) is the final Prophet is among the most important ones. The Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was born in Saudi Arabia. He was sent as a mercy for the whole of the world. He was known for his righteousness, kindness, and fairness.
